it turns out that
even a week spent hanging out with with jared wasn't enough to fully erase the
stresses associated with my mom's cancer diagnosis. i started out on the long
drive from brownfield to killeen feeling upset and alone.
however, just south of justiceburg, i was re-energized by the breathtaking
scenery on the horizon.
i was on a schedule. i had the weight of the world on my shoulders. there was no
logical reason to visit the sprawling wind farm just off the highway. needless to say, i did it
anyway.
the renewal i experienced was the inspiration for this project.
